Dixie D’Amelio has amassed over 30 million followers on TikTok and has recently made headlines after being linked to Sway House member, Noah Beck.

Although she is the older sister of the undisputed queen of TikTok, Charli D’Amelio, Dixie has made a name for herself as a content creator on the video sharing platform.

Recently, some alarming videos have been going round the internet called “deep fakes”, which are edited videos of Dixie.

Dixie has addressed the issue, and Addison Rae has also spoken up.

What is a “deep fake”?

A deep fake video, according to Wikipedia, is “synthetic media in which a person in an existing image or video is replaced with someone else’s likeness.”

Deepfakes have become particularly popular on TikTok, with users making fake videos of their favourite creators, which are made to look extremely realistic.
