Correction appended.Members of the Taos Hub of internet-based Vocations and Education are hosting a public Zoom meeting to discuss the future of tech-based jobs in the area.From 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday (Sept. 25), members of HIVE will discuss the happenings at the business support center and gather ideas on how to expand the digital job market in Taos as part of the Future is Digital Challenge.HIVE seeks to help businesses and entrepreneurs in Taos to find their niche in the digital market and create high-paying jobs in the community.Sponsored by the Center on Rural Innovation, enrollment for the free event kicks off Sept. 22. The challenge will focus on building skills in digital marketing, business analytics and web development.Those who participate in the program and complete it will be qualified to receive one of 300 scholarships valued between $1,200 and $1,600.Correction: The original version of this story had an incorrect date.
