Which Red Bulls II players will shine in the Struber era?

iam platform login page background

BEGIN ARTICLE PREVIEW:

“When you lose your head coach, it’s now everyone playing for their jobs,” Tim Parker said after the New York Red Bulls’ 3-0 loss to the Philadelphia Union in September.
Parker was right, especially with Gerhard Struber coming in as the New York Red Bulls’ new head coach. With the team rotating the roster and evaluating talent while waiting for Struber’s full installation, everyone is back on the starting line in the race for a roster spot, While it’s expected that Struber will demand senior signings of his preference this offseason, his background adhering to the Red Bull football ethos (including a stint in charge of Salzburg’s reserve team FC Liefering) means he might take a long look at some of the best young players in the New York’s USL reserve team.
With the six-to-eight week wait for the new manager getting shorter and shorter, we looked at how some of the best Red Bulls II prospects in USL could potentially fit into Struber’s first team next year.

Calvary’s Lyddy, Green Oaks’ Baker more than passing fancy

iam platform login page background

BEGIN ARTICLE PREVIEW:

Calvary’s Landry Lyddy and Green Oaks’ Keith Baker are putting up some solid passing numbers as we near the halfway point of the shortened 2020 LHSAA football season. Both have been able to battle through three games, unlike some quarterbacks in Northwest Louisiana who have missed contests due to COVID-19 issues or to a hurricane. Lyddy has thrown for 993 yards and 11 touchdowns heading into Friday’s game against Magnolia Charter, where the junior may not get to play a full four quarters. Baker, who has 849 yards and seven scores, has a tougher game with Loyola, but should get in four quarters of action against a strong Loyola defense. Huntington senior J’rell Joseph is also putting up some nice numbers with 741 yards and will face Bastrop Friday night. The Raiders’ Demajah Riley expanded his rushing lead locally with a 5-touchdown game against Loyola and now has 508 yards on the season. Twitter: @JimmyWatson6 Statistics after 3 weeks (Oct. 19)RushingDemajah Riley, Huntington, 69-508 yds.Ron’Tavious Richmond, Parkway 71-368 yds.Me’ciah Butler, Magnolia, 55-360 yds.K. Where are the Hocus Pocus cast now? Hairdresser, TV queen and film darling

iam platform login page background

BEGIN ARTICLE PREVIEW:

With witching season upon us, the 1993 hit film Hocus Pocus is bound to scare up a new batch of fans this Halloween.Featuring a stellar lineup of ghastly witches, (Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker), the Sanderson sisters and their pursuit of eternal youth, combined with some spicy adult jokes and even a catchy music number has firmly landed this film high in the ranks of the cult classics. It’s been 27 years since this kitschy number hit the silver screen, leaving behind a legacy of now grown-up fans and some great Halloween costume inspiration. While some of the cast maintain that this was one of their favourite productions (and who can blame them) the stars then went on to pursue many other filming endeavours. But where are our favourite characters now? Winifred (Bette Midler) Acting heavyweight Bette was already a big star when the movie came out. She had already won several Emmys and boasted an impressive acting career when she assumed the lead role as Winifred. And, with her terrifying stare and spindly nails, she did not disappoint.

Ever see “The Social Network”? The 2010 David Fincher flick tells the story of the early days of Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ: FB).There’s a scene when Justin Timberlake, playing Napster’s visionary Sean Parker, leans across the table and says…”A million dollars isn’t cool. Know what is?””A billion dollars.” Andrew Garfield’s Eduardo Saverin finishes the thought for him. From where I’m standing, it’s mighty tough to argue with that sentiment. If you’re a CEO – or an investor, for that matter – you know you’ve made it when your company clocks $1 billion in annual sales. One billion dollars: From there, the sky’s the limit. You know customers will fork over anything for your products or services – while your competition trembles in their boots.Well, one highly unique, perfectly positioned biotech I know is about to hit that all-important threshold. Crucially, as you’ll see in a second, it hasn’t happened yet. But when it does, this company will have done it faster than Netflix, Apple, and even Google. And the coolest part of this is – if you’ve been following along since Money Morning first recommended this stock back in 2014, if you’ve gone the distance with us – you’ve made at least 10 times your money. …

Or, of the innovations, he made in the world of technology.Steve Paul Jobs, such his full name, perhaps never imagined the global impact generated by being a leading entrepreneur in the computer world: he was the creator of sophisticated and easy-to-use products, the founder of Apple, a world leader in its sector. His different biographies emphasize the thick line on his character and the way of leading. Everyone recognizes him for having had visionary ideas, which made momentous contributions in the field of personal computers, cell phones and music in digital format.Undoubtedly, like all great minds, it is loved and hated in equal measure. Bill Gates, his Microsoft competitor, once noted his admiration for the way of telling and creating empathy between the person (Jobs) and the products through their presentations; and many of those who worked alongside him at Apple in those years remember him as a true genius. As a legacy, in addition to his products, he left 10 practical leadership lessons that emerge from his business experience:1. What is Technopreneurship? What is its meaning, importance & example?

iam platform login page background

BEGIN ARTICLE PREVIEW:

In this blog, we will try to explain what technopreneurship means, its definition, examples, importance and how can you become a successful technopreneur. The term ‘technopreneurship’ is the amalgamation of the century’s most powerful two words – entrepreneurship and technology. A person who identifies a gap or opportunity in any market, industry or process, converts it into a service or product, conducts market research, estimates probable profits and earnings and creates a successful business is called an entrepreneur. The entire process of doing the same is known as entrepreneurship. By definition, technology means the hands-on and pragmatic application or use of scientific knowledge. However, in context, it usually refers to what is known as Information technology (IT) or Information and Communication Technology. As quoted by a British inventor and futurist, Sir Arthur C. Clark, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” A person who begins by brainstorming ideas that challenge the traditional systems and practices and comes up with a better, more creative and different way of doing things is a technopreneur. A technopreneur defies the present economic order by ideating a product or service that uses technological solutions to change the traditional way of doing something. Generally speaking, …
