Saturday’s Coronavirus Updates: 9,642 new cases, 179 new deaths reported in Florida

As of 11 a.m. Saturday, there have been 480,028 positive cases of the coronavirus recorded in the state. The case count includes 474,621 Florida residents and 5,407 non-Florida residents. There are 7,022 Florida resident deaths reported, 122 non-resident deaths and 26,972 hospitalizations, according to the Florida Department of Health.
There have been 3,684,875 tests administered in Florida. A total of 480,028 tests have come back positive, and 3,199,415 tests have come back negative. The remainder are still pending or inconclusive, according to the FDOH website.
