The Fremont County Department of Public Health hosted a Drive-Thru Flu Vaccination Clinic on Saturday morning in the parking lot north of the FCDPHE at 201 N. Sixth St.Participants had to schedule appointments to get their flu shot prior to their arrival and those filled up fast.
Another clinic in Penrose will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 22 at Penrose Community Library. A Cotopaxi clinic was conducted Thursday at Cotopaxi School.
Participants are asked to wear short-sleeved shirts and print and complete the consent form prior to arrival. The consent form is available at https://fremontco.com/public-health/public-health-and-environment.
Masks are required for older children and adults. Vaccinations are covered by most insurance companies without a copay.  For those with Kaiser, the cost is $25. Receipts can be submitted for reimbursement. No-cost vaccines may be provided for those who do not have insurance or those whose insurance does not cover vaccines.
