Oregon firm to use $20M to fund ‘development and deployment of humanoid robots’

ALBANY, Ore. – A company launched at Oregon State University that designs and builds legged robots has raised $20 million in new investment, the company announced today. All told, Agility Robotics has raised $29 million since the company started in 2015. The new round of funding was led by DCVC and Playground Global. They were joined by TDK Ventures, MFV Partners, the Industrial Technology Investment Corporation, Sony Innovation Fund and Safar Partners.
