Musing: We each need to do our part to stem COVID-19

I intentionally waited for Gov. Mike DeWine’s press conference on Tuesday of this past week to write this column.I know folks are tired of hearing about Covid-19 but I’m convinced it is not going to go away on its own. We each have to do our part to make that happen.As of today, there is a curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the next 21 days. Do I think this will eradicate this nasty virus? Not really. Do I believe it will bring down numbers of new cases? It should, BUT everyone needs to abide by the guidelines and do their part in this fight for a safer Ohio. Retail stores, restaurants and bars are to lock their doors at 10 p.m. Restaurants can continue drive through and carry out past 10 for the convenience of those who work afternoon and graveyard shifts.In my opinion, folks should be home by 10 anyway and not wanting to meet in large gatherings. He also stated this includes private home gatherings as well as public meeting places.No, I don’t believe the governor is a dictator but rather a man with a genuine heart to protect the citizens …
