New Delhi: The organizers of the MENA Innovation Technology Transfer Summit (MITT Summit) announced on Friday that they expect India to become one of the main participants in their upcoming event. This signifies India’s growing profile in the resource rich region.
The Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park(SRTI Park), UAE’s premier research and innovation hub, is organising the first edition of the MITT Summit on September 22nd.
The hybrid summit will connect Sharjah, New Delhi, Paris, Moscow and New York, while major players in the world of technology will connect for 14 hours of discussion on how best to shape the future of innovation and promote sustainability.
“India, as a growing global economic superpower, has some of the most exciting potential and innovations in the market. The Summit is also joining forces with Russian thought leaders to fuel inspiration and partnerships in the two countries,” said Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park and Advisory Board member of Women in Tech, the world’s leading organization for women empowerment in the technology sector.
The MITT Summit in 2020 has partnered with Women in Tech® and is ensuring that there will be a 50:50 gender distribution among speakers.
