Here’s the Rotarian of the Year for Rotary Club of Murrieta

Rotarian of the Year is the club’s highest honor, recognizing “service above self,” according to a news release.
“Patsy was always ready to step up and help,.” Jacqui Dobens, the club’s 2019-20 president, said in the news release.
The latest example of Orr’s stepping up and helping is her work with the club’s face shield project. As the project began in the early days of coronavirus shutdowns, Orr offered to help deliver supplies to those manufacturing the shields on their home 3D printers and to deliver the completed shields to hospitals and others who needed them.
Later, she ordered her own 3D printer and now she makes some of the face shields distributed throughout thecommunity, according to the news release.
A Rotarian since 2003, Orr served as Murrieta Rotary’s president in 2013-14 and as an assistant governor for Rotary District 5330 from 2014 to 2016. She also …
