Q: What change in business caused by COVID-19 do you expect to remain in place after all this is over?A: One trend that may continue post pandemic is an exodus from big cities that find themselves mired in crime, rampant drug abuse, homelessness, unclean and unsafe streets and wasteful, ineffective local governments. Additionally, health concerns, both mental and physical, that inner cities are grappling with are causing some residents to consider a move.
There has always been a “Big City” allure. The night life, proximity to restaurants, entertainment and mass transportation, ability to meet new friends and colleagues, and other lifestyle amenities are big attractions. This trend could well continue when people are able to once again safely socialize.

Be that as it may, larger, newer, lower-priced homes with ample yards outside urban areas are enticing buyers, especially ones with growing families. Producing one’s own organic fruits and vegetables is also appealing to many. The ability to work from home affords many people the opportunity to consider alternative housing locations, like the suburbs or other parts of the country where “the living is easy”.
